Automatic Enrolment Pensions
Everyone has the right to a secure financial future. The Government’s Workplace Pension scheme was established to help more people save for retirement.
Introduced in 2012, automatic enrolment pensions, also known as ‘Workplace Pensions’, were designed to help all workers save more. As an employer, you must, by law, enrol all your eligible workers into a workplace pension if they are not already in one, if they:
• Are at least 22 years old
• Have not reached state pension age
• Earn more than a minimum amount a year (currently £10,000)
• Work, or ordinarily work, in the UK (under their contract)
You must make all the arrangements, while the employees need to do nothing to be put into the scheme. You must also pay a minimum contribution into the pension scheme for your eligible workers. The Government will also pay into it in the form of tax relief.
If you’re struggling to understand your obligations, we can ensure your business complies with the latest workplace pension regulations to help you avoid any unnecessary penalties.
As an employer, helping your staff save for retirement is a key priority.
Workplace pensions were established to make it as easy as possible for you to provide for their future. We can help you quickly and easily set up a new workplace pensions scheme or ensure your existing one runs as it should. Once your scheme is up and running, we can help you easily
- Access and manage employee data
- Manage and send employee contributions

“You made it look easier than it actually was. We are so grateful for all the help and guidance throughout the whole process, because when I first walked into your office, I didn’t think it could happen for me and Beth, and you made it happen. A VERY BIG thanks.”

It’s vitally important to understand the risks associated with any pensions, as the value of your investments can go down as well as up, and the value of the pension fund may be worth less than what has been invested.
At BDWM, our starting point is always you – what are your business goals and objectives, and how are you looking to support your employees?
Once we understand this, our team of professional advisers will use their years of experience and expertise to create an investment strategy to meet your goals.
