Investments: Most types of investment are protected for 100% of the first £85,000 per person per firm (firms failing after 1 April 2019) or £50,000 per person per firm (if the firm failed between 1 Jan 2010 and 31 March 2019)SIPPs and Poor Pension Advice: 100% of the first £85,000 per person per firm (firms failing after 1 April 2019) or £50,000 per person per firm (if the firm failed between 3 July 2015 and 31 March 2019)

Pensions: Most types of pensions are protected for 100% of the value of the pension without limit

Banks and Building Societies: 100% of the first £85,000 per person per facility (failing after 1 January 2017)
